After the success of our first meeting I've put together another agenda which I hope you can all make.

The ride will take in the excellent B660 going through Kim Bolten and Great Gidding before crossing the A1 onto the B1040 and heading back through Ramsey before stopping for lunch at a really nice pub in the village of Waresley. From there we will work our way down to Sandy and back onto the A1.

This route throws all sorts of bends at you and is huge fun to ride. Bike mags have used this as a test route it's that good.

OK so where to meet up. I think we may be able to temp some of the folk from Northant to join us so I've put in two meeting points.

Meeting point1 10:00 - Tesco @ Welwyn Garden City to get here just go straight up the A1 and take the junction after the Galleria Hatfield swing back over the A1 and it's on the oposite side of the roundabout. Meet at front of store.

Meeting point2 11:30 - Playing field car park on your right just before Mowsbury golf course (B660). The google map link takes you to a road just past this but you can clearly see where I mean.

If you need any more info / direction just ask.

Cheers

Bike: 2001 ST2

Sorted my starting problem, the actuator connector to the solenoid was a bit corroded and the female conectors had opened up.
Had all of the fairing of today cleaned and silicon greased all of the connectors and nipped up the female connector on the solenoid.
Hopefully she wont embarrass me again like that!

Yep,the 660 road is 'orrible one you get past the bends out of Holme. The long straight with the big barns on the left is the worse.
Its far better to turn off the 660 as it crosses the A1,.then down the link road past Sawtry and on to the Abbots Ripton road.Turn left in the village towards Kings Ripton and pick up the 1040 at St.Ives.
