I go over there quite regularly, the SL always seems to draw a glance or two. Should be over next Tuesday if the weather is good.

Didn't know they were still doing the tuesday bike night? Not been for a few years, used to be a good turn out - big car park & would be full on a nice evening, might have to take another look.

And if you get bored with this meet on the 2nd tuesday of the month about 5 miles away is an even bigger meet with far greater variety of bikes and far more interesting machinery

Pm me if you are interested in details, I don't post information about meets anymore as I was criticised for not giving enough notice about meets

Six hills is a great place to meet - I just caught a glimpse of a black 1098 the first and only time I was there a few weeks ago - was it you?

Re Kiwi's comments re posting remarks about not giving enough notice???

Kiwi, do you not think this "dig" at me has gone abit too far??? Personally I am getting rather fed up with it, before the East Midlands group was created on here all you had to do was post the meeting on this section? I did not set up the group expected to get abuse in this way - I actually don't need it.

Sorry Justa1098 to have hijacked your thread slightly.

What an odd comment, you get up on the wrong side of the bed Kiwi?

The more meets the merrier in my view, as long as were all getting to ride as much as possible, however if somebody can guarantee more sunshine at their respective meet then that's a whole new level of bartering I could be interested in. Maybe we should set up meets in Spain rather than Leicestershire.

Hmm, having just come back from a short holiday - I think a week on someone else's 848 in a hot country might just be on the cards!

But, if the weather is looking ok, there could be an 848 tanking down the A46 this evening too!
