You are invited to attend the third Herts, Beds & Bucks Ducatisti meeting. This time I feel we should add an event into the schedule and as we are all folk who like fast exotic machinery what better way to spend a day than attending the forthcoming Duxford airshow. Please find full information on the link below.

Air Shows at IWM Duxford - Full listings and information

I just love Spitfires and the sound of the Merlin engine on full chat.

Meeting up at the ‘silver ball’ @10:30.

A hearty breakfast before the squadron scramble at 11:30. Full fly past before routing out to Duxford. Chocks away, tally ho, and see you on the day cheers

For the moment sign me in. I am trying to go for a quick one over the Channel on Thursday and riding back friday. That might change in so many different ways.
Do not laugh if I show up with fully loaded bike looking like I am going away for a day or two

Not cheap I know, but there is an excellent line-up of aircraft including 10 spitfires and also the Vulcan, which I'm really looking forward to seeing. Check it out at:

Vulcan to the Sky Trust - Avro Vulcan Bomber XH558 - Vulcan Operating Company

I was at Duxford all day yesterday, and noted the vulcans appearance, god only knows how it will land, and surely it is tight on runway length for it to get airborne, but unfortunately i will miss it as i have to have steroid injections that day, anyway i hope to show you all my new boobs in the near future!i was really looking forwards to that show, but enjoy and think of me with needles into my ankle joints.

It is quite sad watching the Vulcan take off these days, I know she's an old girl but she is treated with kid gloves.
I remember watching her take off as a nipper when she was operational, that was at an airshow down south somewhere, don't remember where! The pilot stood her on her tail as soon as the wheels were of the ground and launched her straight up, what an impressive site and sound!!
