Birthday cakes at Box Wed 20th
Calendar: Events Calendar
Paivi
Amico di Galluzzi

To celebrate loads of Ducatisti birthdays - Sweetpea (27yrs) on 15th, Lukazade (26) on 17th, Happymotard and Paivi (both 28) and AK (30) all on 19th - we're having loads of cakes at Box Hill this Wednesday 20th from about 6.30pm onwards, or whenever people get there.

It's even supposed to be nice weather! We'll all be putting topboxes on our bikes for the inevitable presents...

well, Paivi has kindly given AK the age of 30 (cheers burd, he liked that!)

.... however, that makes him 2 years older than his son!!

Paivi - very unlikely we are going to be able to come to Box Hill tomorrow - we really need to load the van up in daylight. Its a toss-up between Box tomorrow, or birthday dinner tonight - dinner is winning at the moment, more so as its dark by 8.20.....
If anyone wants to pop in here (at Old Woking) for a cuppa on their way back from Box Hill tomorrow, you are more than welcome.

Wasn't it Marie Antoinette that said "Let them eat cake" ?

Well me and crystaljohn sure felt like a couple of peasants and we didn't get any cake either !

A couple of spots of rain and the Ducatisti disappeared like a virgin on prom night.
I just about made it home before I died of starvation but I don't know about poor John as I haven't seen him online and he had to go all the way back to storrington.

I'll just have to have a couple of consolation beers before I go to bed dreaming of cake.

cakeless and damp

Quite a challenging return journey honing my cakeless wet weather skills. Had to be a pinball wizard toward the end as it was getting dark couldn't see a great deal through my fogged up visor, had to use the 'Force'!

Hey may I just point out that I did provide cake on the Saturday meet and this thread was seen to late for me to do yet more baking for MY and others birthday's. I did want to go but it seemed that no one was going - sorry I got that wrong.

So boys at the next Box meet I am giving lots of warning that I will be expecting cake!!!
