Can't believe nobody is talking about this, looks like fun to me as long as you don't mind staying in second gear all day. Looks like the same kinda deal as the Bristol Italian Auto Festival. 8)

I was thinking of going.
Where in hampshire are you guys meeting up.
Anywhere near the A272/A32 crossing at West Meon hut?
If I can get a kitchen pass, bribe the dog to nick the keys to the shackles I could be there.
BTW metoffice says:
Could be showers in the morning but brightening toward the afternoon.
Temperature about 5-9C
Hold on to your hats (literally) - Winds gusting 45mph
There may be a wind chill to take into account.

Sounds good.
Bought a 36mm socket last week to adjust me chain (rattle rattle).
Must adjust that first.
If all goes well with that, see you 9:45 presumably at the little chef car park (think the chefs closed now) or in the West Meon hut.
Cheers.

Not Friggin Happy
Got up early, theres a first.
Adjusted the chain (5 minute job and for once it took 5 minutes)
Checked the tyres (rear low again????? pumped it up).
Wheeled the bike DOWN the drive, turned ignition - DEAD.
DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD !
I normally check it at the top of the drive in the garage before wheeling it down, but not today.
Battery voltage 1.5V
I don't think it was in Parking light mode cos I would have noticed when I parked it in the garage.
Also should have noticed the extra click when & when I turned the key, but no.
Never had any problem before, but have noticed voltage around 11.5V on switch on.
Is that normal?
