Yes, I did go to Box Hill . I was there rather early (about 10'ish) as I had to go early (off to London on the R1100S with g/f, shopping), so I was the first Ducati there. I met a guy with a 999S (Seargeant seat - lives near Reigate) and very briefly a guy with very nice Tricolore. But he was chatting to a guy who pitched up on a nice yellow 999. A few others were turning up just as I was needing to leave. I was probably a bit too shy being a newbie!

I will go again next weekend if you guys are there as I would like to meet some people who know more than me (not difficult!). At the moment my bike is on a Jersey plate (registration starts with a J) and is a standard red model.

Hi Rick. Thanks for the message. I pop in to both places from time to time and sometimes have g/f with me. Not sure if she will be willing to ride pillion on the 1098 though. Look forward to meeting you in due course. We live near Newdigate.
