    Hi Chris,
Sorry I've only just found your message.
The Speedline wheels were awfull, mine had a crack radiating out from EVERY disc brake bolt hole inside of a couple of years.
My 2nd set of wheels were Campagnolo's and they didn't fair much better!
Whilst at this years TT I learned that there was a Speedline recall and a friend had them changed FOC after more the 2 years ownership...
I wish I'd known about that at the time!
Steve Wynne the well known 'Guru' who owned Sports Motorcycles once said that he wouldn't even sit on a classic bevel in the showroom if it was still fitted with Speedline's!
They were **** poor back then and they're now around 30 years old...
I wouldn't want to test ride a bike that still had them fitted!!!
John at Mdina's is an old mate and is pretty straight, but he's not cheap!
But then very few are when it comes to classic bike prices.
If you've still got the Speedlines fitted, get rid of them NOW, not in the near future but NOW!
I've had wire wheels fitted to my '79 900SS since the early 80's, Ive no regrets.

    Steve
