I am glad and delighted that my preaching about baines sunk in,i have had a few people work on my bike, and so far none come close to baines.Look forward to seeing you next week, did you get the brakes serviced,as that makes a huge difference too.
I have done a few days of 400 country road miles in a day,i had a sore brain, but the bike i love to bits,i could never sell it,unless it went to a real enthusiast i knew, but i do sometimes think i need a little more oomph. But Geoff,it is thanks to you showing me the picture of your bike that inspired me,and for that i am always thankfull, see you next week.
All the best.

Hi Michel,
Received your invitation and responded. Thanks. I must say I find this site quite tricky to navigate at times, so hope you got it.
Jeff Baines has worked wonders on the bike, I loved it before but now I am totally intoxicated. The Bora cans are majestic and it now rumbles magnificently and really barks when you open it up. I always knew the forks needed a bit of setting up but it's now a different bike. Previously 50 miles and I was knackered, now I could ride all day. New clutch plates and new front tyre (back one was only replaced in March) and it's a different beast.
I hope you can get along to the meet next weekend and more importantly that we get some decent weather again.
Geoff
