I've just read the following:

I've been offered 2 Corsa 888's in the last few months, both around the £20,000 mark.
One guy I know in France has 2 of them, an 888 and one of the last 888/926 racers, the 926 has never been raced.

Right now I'm looking at a modified 888 sp3, with 926 engine here in Holland. It is not all original but done very nicely and a three time BOTT champion bike.

I'm actually interested in a original corsa 888 / 926 (an can work out the extra morgage;-) but have no idea where to look. I would like to ask you if you can forward your details of the person in France that has those bike's on sale.

I have fitted my new 48 tooth stm evo slipper today. All seems to work but I have an extra bit ,that isnt on the instructions , Its a machined washer about 25 mm inside dia. and 35mm outside dia. it even has a part no OD1SR140C220045 acid burnt into it. Any thoughts, I hate extra bits.Cheers ducati242

hi, chris here. first i'd like to thank you for your help with the clutch prob's.
now, you seem to know your stuff with ducati's. what do you know about the speedline wheels which were fitted to some of the ducati's like mine. i have been told that they are potentially lethal. as you can imagine, this detracts somewhat from my enjoyment of the bike; the worry that the wheels might break up. was the problem so bad that they did a recall?
or was it isolated cases? hope you can help or put me in the direction of someone who can.
