    Hi Alan,

The days are drawing out a bit now so the riding season will soon be on the horizon!
Something I noticed the other day from one of your emails is that your company is based in Earls Colne. Funnily enough the wealthy couple who we went to Meribel with live in Earls Colne.
I think it's called Earls Colne Abbey, we went there last year, a pretty amazing house with indoor cinema, lake, snooker room, etc, etc. Very posh. Small world eh!
    Cheers,
    Shaun

    Hi Alan,

    Happy new year to you.
Lets hope we have a good year riding eh. But not starting tmrw!
How is the DD project coming on?
My Sport Classic project has ground to a halt as I'm awaiting parts but with the weather as it is theres no rush.
I'm looking forward to my first trip to Portimao in March for a 3 day track day, should be good as I've heard the track is awesome.
    All the best,
    Shaun

    Hi Shaun,
I have a 1098 Style GRP Fairing and nose cone fitted and bought a new set as well. I also have spare rearsets/pegs and levers. Paintjob being done by Raptor in Cambridge who are sponsoring me, so doing it at cost price :-).
I think I'm pretty well sorted mate, but thanks anyway.
    Alan

    Hi Alan,
I had a nose i the garage and what I have that may fit is a race fairing, both sides and nose with screen and some rear sets. I think the fairing would fit, the footrests maybe...If you need a good paint job, I can recommend a guy I used for my R6, called Richard at Berkshire Racepaint. He's an ex-BSB rider and did a great job for me. Not to exxy either. Number is: 07899 901923
    Hope this helps,
    Cheers,
    Shaun

Sounds good. Its ages since we raced a 900ss in KRC endurance - 1995 in fact - happy days!
I rode today, it was good, rugged up and the roads sort of dry.
My winter project though is this classic i've just bought. i've dropped it off at st neots to be stripped for repainting. Having a dry clutch conversion with some magnesium cases and some termi's - should be good.

The DD's iv'e seen around all look good and friendly riders. Looks a good fun thing to do but i feel i've done my racing now. track days are ok for me now, portimao in march...pyranees in july and south africa in oct...should keep me busy!
    Cheers,
    Shaun
