Bike: Monster 1100 soon!

BBC MotoGP Coverage Outlined

As expected, less coverage than Eurosport, with only MotoGP to be shown on a regular channel.

"BBC Sport have confirmed they will continue to show MotoGP through to 2013 after extending their deal to have the exclusive UK TV rights of the championship.

Although not a surprise after the announcement that Eurosport had lost their pan-European coverage in favour of national distributors, the BBC will continue to show all the
races – 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP - live, as well as the qualifying sessions.

Of these, only MotoGP will continue to be shown live on BBC Television, with the 125cc, 250cc races and qualifying broadcast on their interactive service."

Yeah and as mentioned in previous comments on this topic, this means that you'll only be able to record the stuff actually on the main channel - not what's behind yer red button

It depends what system you have. If you have Sky, then you have a problem, but with Freeview, the interactive stuff is on channels 301 & 302. The only problem I've found so far is that I can't find anywhere which tells you which one; the BBC website merely says "interactive" but I'm assuming (hoping) it'll be 301.

It's always been on 301 so far, and yes I can confirm it can be recorded on freeview, no problem.

Ah - in that case, yes, I have a problem. Actually, I've got loads, the list is almost endless, but that's not important right now
