Moto GP
Trouble is now with the 800's they are too reliant on high corner speed, which not only makes it more sensitive to tyre issues (sidegrip) but has made it harder for superbike riders to make the transition to GP.
With the 990's, there were choices of how to ride them, either with high corner speed (like Stoner) or fast in / brakes / fast out (smokin the tyre like Haydon)
Bring back the 990's introduce a one make tyre rule, ban all electronic aids.
Incidentally, some of the best racing to be seen anywhere at the moment comes from the Superstock class, I.E a bike straight off the showroom floor with minimal mods & a nutter on board.
