New Rear Tyre - Where to buy one?

Apparently, my rear tyre is a bit square, so I should think about getting a new one.

Where would I get one in London/Surrey and what does that entail?

Worth A try

Hi Paivi, Just bought one from these people, not for a duke, but they were £18-00 cheaper than anyone else. and seem to have a massive stock and manufacturers.

Hmm, I'm detecting a theme here...

I don't need the cheapest tyres, but to make sure they're the correct ones and they're fitted properly (my bike's still showing the scars of the last tyre change, remember, David?).

Got a couple of part worn ex-DD race tyres Paivi - £50 for the pair.

Look rather righteous as no chicken strips, plenty of wear left for the road.

They are std Pirelli Diablos, and right size for the M620's (160 rear)

The tyre I bought was an Avon Venom X, not a cheap unknown brand but one that was recommended for the bike I have had it put on.Still had to get Slipstream to put it on when I had a full service, but still saved a good few quid.
I would never put anything on that was sub standard or cheap,, tyres I think should be the best for the job. irespective of how much they cost.

Are you sure you don't want to fit £35 Avons on the 695? Just so you can whine and complain about how terrible they are!

....and how's your Scandinavian friend Sultan? maybe he can suggest to wait for Nokia to start making tyres for bikes, since "they're the number 1 car tyre brand in Finland's fleemarkets!" than after you experienced them for yourself!
YOU'LL BE ELLIGIBLE TO POST YOUR OWN HONEST OPINION ABOUT THEM

eastcoast guy - suggest you come clean as to what this is all about. Without any context it's bordering on abuse.

Plus this thread is 6 months old????

well, number one, Paivi is a her, not a him. Second, the only people who can delete your posts are the mods and they'd only do that if the posts were 'strong'.

Also, can I point out that I've never heard of you, nor that Paivi or other people have had problems with, presumably, your business. Now I have tho.

All retailers or people offering a service get bad press from time to time - for me, the measure of a business is how they handle the bad, not just the good. Can I suggest the best thing is if you drop it, rather than resurrect old sh*te?

I'm not aware of any posts deleted but we'll look into it. Meanwhile, as has been pointed out ecoastducati, a little less confrontational would be preferred.
