Classic Bol d'Or - Magny-Cour

Anybody planning on going to the Classic Bol d'Or this year?
Weekend of April 11th. Went last year and it was just brilliant.
5 hours bike ride with a couple of petrol stops from Caen, not using Autoroutes either.
It's 18 Euros to get in, camping is free and so are the stands and pit walks. 7 Euros for a 2ft Ham & Cheese baguette and a pint of beer.
You can even go and help teams out if they are struggling rebuilding an engine and you've got the know how.

It starts on Friday AM, with wall to wall track time, same again on Saturday, when they run the first 2 hour race into the evening. Sunday AM more track time, followed by the 2nd part of the Bol, then track time again after, and also track time AM and PM on the Monday.
Ducati France are a major sponsor, and the bikes there; well you're like a kid in Hamleys just before Christmas. If it was build from 1960 to 1981 (with derivitives) you name it, it's there.

I'm looking to get a LWB van and take the SP4S, Katana and Lawson Rep down there.

Would those who are going to the Bol in April please get in touch with me with the following:

1. Travel mode. Bike, car;
2. Time and day of travel;
3. Any friends also going. Please also ask them to contact me on this eMail ID so I can get arrangement details sent out.

The Bol organisers require the pitches to be set up by PM Friday 11th April. So, the van and marquee will need to get an evening crossing 10th April.
Something like the SeaFrance 17:50hrs crossing.
The quickest and easiest way to Magny-Cour, even from the NW, is from Dover to Calais. As checked on googlemap and route finder.
The organisers have put us next to Ducati France on a 12m x 5m pitch so we should have loads of room.

It was a doozy!!!
Even got the SP4S on to Magny-Cours for three laps of the track.
Photo's in Moto Revue later along side a retro Paul Smart Sports and a complete CF MHRe owned by the President of DOC France...
When I get them I'll post them up.
Top laugh, top racing but the weather was crap. Didn't stop us though.
13 blokes went in the end.
Going again next year? Oh yes mate.
It's half term too, so the troops will be going en masse.
