Massive Bbc Coverage Of North West 200

www.bbc.co.uk/nw200
Last year, thousands of people around the world watched the groundbreaking live coverage from the BBC of the Kennedy International North West 200 and this year, the team is back with even bigger and better coverage of Britain's most popular road race.

Headed up by Stephen Watson of BBC Northern Ireland, the team will be covering the event on television and radio, as well as streaming every race live on race day, Saturday 17th May, via the dedicated event website, www.bbc.co.uk/nw200

There will also be a live stream from both practice sessions, on both Tuesday 13th May and Thursday, 15th May and in between, you can have your say in the fans forum, streamed live on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8.00pm.

Steve Parrish, Phil McCallen, Adrian Coates and Larry Carter will be bringing you all the action throughout the week and fans can e-mail their comments to the team to be included in the fan's forum or read out on air during the race coverage at nw200@bbc.co.uk

In addition, a dedicated NW200 mobile phone site will also be available offering video content, rider profiles and results downloads by texting NW200 to 81010 (charges cost a minimum of 12p and networks vary) and more details can be found at www.bbc.co.uk/nw200

A Superbike and Supersport race will be broadcast live on Race Day (Saturday, 17th May) behind the red button.

The whole event will then be covered by two hour-long highlights shows on BBC1 Northern Ireland. You can catch them on Sunday 18th May at 10.20pm and on Monday 19th May at 9.00pm.

There will also be an hour and a half-long highlights programme on Sunday 25th May, showing on Network BBC2 and a live preview programme will be broadcast from the paddock on Friday 16th May.

All of these programmes will also be available on the BBC iPlayer for one week after broadcast. BBC Newsline will also be reporting live during the week across all bulletins.

BBC Radio Ulster will be broadcasting live from Thursday night practice (15th May) between 7 and 9.00pm and a live preview show, presented by Jackie Fullerton, will be broadcast from the paddock on Friday evening.

Your Place and Mine get in on the act on Saturday morning, broadcasting live from the paddock from 8 to 9.00am on race day before Joel Taggart and Michael McNamee present live radio coverage of all races on Saturday, 17th May from 11.00am to 6.00pm.

There will also be coverage with bulletins on Good Morning Ulster & Evening Extra throughout the week.

NW200 -- class

A quick line to congratulate Micheal Rutter on the JHP nw200 Duke on winning the first superbike race at the 2008 NW200.

And a big cheer to Micheal Dunlop on winning the 250cc opener // like father like son - a winner
