At BSB level, we reckon on refreshing the engines every 10 hours of running time...so that will give you an idea of the cost dependant on how many meetings you plan on doing.......but if I can help any further dont hesitate to give me a prod....

Thanks, I understand the risks of the roads but that's part of the attraction - overcoming them. Feel the fear and do it anyway.
I can't make it to Mallory this weekend, I have to go help put my cobbled together engine in my DD bike after the last one broke.
As far as supersport bikes go, I'm not going to buy a fully tuned bike - too much to go wrong. I reckon something in superstock spec or mildly tuned would be the go and just get the suspension setup and learn to ride the thing. The R6 cup boys seemed to go alright!
