hughmark, the day I did was cold and occasionally damp. The bikes were left in an open area and got cold very quickly. This and some really tight corners at the start of the lap contributed to people going down within the first couple of laps.

It's going to be warmer when you do your session and I would be amazed if you didn't use the pits at Rocky. Tyres will be warmer. Also, Rocky is a bigger circuit than Stowe, so there's more room on the track and all the corners are quicker.

Please don't misinterpret my post on CSS - it's a great way of gaining simple tools that you can use every day to ride more safely and in more control. The skills are applicable on the road and the track, wet or dry. I'm booked for my L2 soon and will likely do 3 and 4, maybe somewhere sunny

I'd imagine that everyone could take something positive away from the day.

JerryXt, thanks for clarifying your point. Well I am now fully kitted out for Tuesday and am really looking forward to doing level 1, and if that goes well doing the other 3 as well. I'll take a camera along and post a few shots of my experiences.
