wotcha Ann, how's life?

L2 is great. The 'ride where you're uncomfortable' drill is excellent - really helps confidence knowing that you can go in completely bananas places and still keep it together.

Re the hat, I used to take my commuter helmet with me to trackdays (and I may have for L1) too just in case I was pulled up for it, but they can see it's an Arai and there's no problem. I used to ask at every trackday but there were never any problems.

Was good to meet you Jerry, stunning bike mate! Glad it got sorted and you got out again.

I was there doing Level 3, not 4. Level 3 was great, think I enjoyed it more than 1&2, it was all about methods for correcting corners when you run wide (why didnt I do this course BEFORE I ran wide at Mallory at 100mph!) and also the angle that you attack a bend.

I felt I learnt a lot and I had a top instructor, Butch, who was a former DD racer Chris Butcher. Strange but true! He understood all the issues of racing around on a little monster and was a great help plus he was up for a more "active pace".

It was also the first day out after Protwins had added some flashy rearsets and built me a 'firm' and taller racing seat from a standard monster bench.

All in all a top day and as said there was a European Superstock chap there (I think a couple but one who stood out) lapping at such a ridiculous pace, seriously entertaining stuff!

By the way, I have the same helmet as you, but it does not have a gold ACU sticker on it. Does yours have the sticker? If not, did you have any problems using it for the CSS day?
The lid I use is a Ducati Suomy Corse Extreme and it DIDNT come with a ACU badge. I wasnt a happy camper and had a moan at Moto Rapido where I got it. A week later I got a sticker in the post! stupid that these top lids dont have a stcker!

I'm good thanks Jerry. Looking forward to Level 2.
Riding where you are uncomfortable? I do that daily!

That's interesting. I got my Ducati Arai from Moto Rapido, so I'll get on to them this week to get a sticker.
Thanks.
