Good place to Practice?

Hi

Does any one know a good place to practice putting my knee down?
Want to learn that and other, other are:
wheelie
moving burn-out - buying new tyre on friday so now is good time to practice that
Would love to practice some emergency braking as well.

Any where in London, possibly near SE. A big empty parking place, a cool round-about. You know.

Would be a good place to start, close to A&E ... but as some of our Ducatisti keep falling off it is a bit busy place at the moment.

That's a bit old fashioned....!

Just buy her a pizza and ask her to marry you, don't bother with all that getting down on one knee lark

A track near you; as Nog suggested, Brands is quite close.

Allegedly, the smoke produced is full of carcinogens.

Surely you mean, 'controlled braking under emergency situations'. You need to practice this at the speeds you normally ride at. 30 you can do at a Tesco's carpark at night, faster than that, on the A20 when it's quiet? Just don't get it wrong...

Everybody suggests race track for knee sliding and wheelie school for the other. I am kind of a do it yourself person. I could learn the knee thing myself; know all the basics and positioning but no place to try it. I attempt every time when going to work. Kind off managed one time.
Wheelie school might be a good idea, at the end you use somebody else bike.

I have already tried 'controlled braking under emergency situations' in Tesco car park. Was banished for ever now. Shop was closed so I did not know what their problem was.

Then get on a track and get your knee down...no one will care there and you wont hurt anyone else if you **** up, which is what I guess the supermarkets problem was...being a public right of way and all that !
