How do I????
How to I remove my battery without my datatool 3 alarm going off.

Tried service mode but as soon as I touch the battery terminals I go deaf....

Are you sure it's in service mode as that's all you need do to enable battery removal?

Service mode should yet you remove the battery. Are you sure your using service mode and not just turning the motion detector off? To get service mode: with the ignition on (engine not running) press and hold the round button untill a bleep is heard, the alarm will bleep every 15 seconds and the led will remain on. Sorry if this what your already doing, but I made this mistake myself when I changed my battery.
