Am I missing something here?? Your post was that it wont start, now by artificially introducing fuel it fires.
So it would appear that the injectors are not fueling for whatever reason.

Yes it fires but obviously only runs until the fuel I put into bore runs out. I does sound like the injectors are not working. I took your advise and checked the injector relay and it seems to be working o.k..... any other suggestions??
Thanks For your time
Marc

This is the relay behind the battery housing under the heatshield we are talking about.
They are not very reliable I have a bucketful of them now from Fiat Punto fuse boxes. Don't ask how.
Have a look at the pic of mine on THIS link that I posted some time back.

Should read I have now replaced the relay and still no joy.
I have checked all the fuses around the clock area, there are two at the side of the battery and the large one underneath the battery area...have I missed any??

Well we have deduced that it must be fuel as it fires with artificial intervention. The next area to check is the multi plug at the rear right of the airbox, I think it was Safetyfish found a bent dislodged pin on his machine. this loom comes from the ecu and feeds the injectors and the TPS.

I have a power commander fitted, if you mean the plug that goes from the power commander to the air box ...all looks fine.
Running out of ideas now .... maybe its time to take it to Louigi moto and have them run a diagnostic.

You say fuel is flowing?? Sure there's fuel in the tank?
When you turn the ignition on, the fuel pump should run for a couple of seconds [to pressurise the system] then stop. Does your pump stop? If not, and the pump keeps running, then either there's insufficient fuel, or maybe a loose/adrift/split fuel line in the tank......that'd cause no fuel pressure at the injectors..
Can you have a listen to the injectors [ should hear them clicking ] with either a mechanics stethoscope, or a screwdriver in your ear, with the engine spinning over?
Worth a look....?

Plenty of fuel in the tank.I can hear the pump start as it should and then cut off, as it should.
Really stumped now
