Question cutting down titanium bolts ? how ? & with what ?

hi
I need 2 no. M7 x 25mm bolts to mount the Brembo rear caliper on my Moto Corse bracket

have found these: Pro-Bolt Ltd Titanium Drilled Race-Spec Flanged Hex Head Bolts

but I would need to cut them down as they are 40mm

what is the best way to do this on Ti and with what tools please ?

cheers

Sharpy

A small cut off wheel in the dremel gives the best results. You can hacksaw the with a fine tooth blade though and dress the ends with a file.
You could ask probolt to do it?? shouldn't be a problem.

hi Nelly
thanks
just called pro-bolt to ask about cutting them down and they are now actually stocking them in a 20mm length, just checked the mount and caliper & looks like 20mm is perfect so I have ordered those !

£6.99 each tho' ouch ! But they are Ti and look very nice I guess, and they are sending them out today too

cheers
