Engine mounting bolts

Does anyone know if the 10mm 748 engine mount bolts will fit a carby 900ss?

I need a set of bolts and Ducati in Prague quoted over £100 per bolt..... I dont know if it they are made of exclusivinium or something but that price is just plain ridiculous!

I have subsequently seen a set of 748 bolts on fleabay for £24 but the carby ones have allen heads and these have standard hexagonal heads.

cheers in advance

Nichols engineering make replacement engine mounts that are a lot stiffer that the originals for $200, see here Nichols Motor Mount Bolts

+1 on the Nichols engine bolts I've got them on my 851/916 they're top quality kit.
On the 851 I had to drill out the frame and crankcases to fit them, not sure if this's needed on the 900?
The Nichols bolts are threaded on both ends, come with spacers that you need to adjust/shorten so that the bolts are centralised and special long/deep shoulderd nuts, they come with full fitting instructions and a small tool to help centralise them.
I highly recommend them.
Drop Nichols an Email they're very helpful and prompt in replying and it appears 1/2 the price of genuine Ducati items, their service was pretty quick as well.

Than ks for the response chaps... however I am not sure I like the idea of drilling out my crankcases... I am ok until the drill is switched on then it all tends to go to ratschitt!!

I am of the school of measure twice.. measure once again to be sure and only then, once sure of all dimensions, make the cut... and cut it flaming wrong!!!

A lot of the US 900ss owners swear by these for improving the handling/feedback. The only issue I'm aware of occurs when you replace the bolts with the engine in-situ where the original bolts have become distorted in service. Then they become right little monkeys to get out. This won't be the case for you George.
