Nurburgring and back in 24 hours?

During the holiday i want to get 1000+ miles done in a 24hour session on the 749 (just for the hell of it tbh).
Initial thought is from London to Nurburgring then a lap (or 2) round before heading back to London.
Is this do able? (thoughts welcome or advice)
Or any alternative routes/destinations for a 24hr 1000+ mile journey.
cheers

Its doable but it will be hard.... I Famosi Quattro did Dijon to Manchester and Dijon to Bristol about 700 miles in a day. 7.00am in the morning to around 11.30 at night. That was about as much as we wanted to stand. It lashed down as well most of the way for the last 300 miles so it was probably harder.

Depends really what your pain threshold is!

Nurburgring is 5 comfortable hours from Calais. London to the Ring is 400 ish miles 80 down to Dover. Couple of laps then back home for tea.

Doddle of a job. Just time your ferries right.

Did the ring with two of my mates yesterday, on my GS though. No way would I attempt it in a day on my Duke!
Plus make sure it will be open when you get there we had to wait till 545pm for the public session, weather was great 21 euros for one lap goes too quickly for my money but hey I ticked the box
Stayed in Valkenburg the night before and watched the footie great bikers hotel check it out highly recommended Linky here about 2hrs from the circuit through the Effel National park brill roads to get to the Ring.
