Bilbao to Calais.

Hi just returned from a ride through Spain and France. I did 1800 mls on my 996bp. The ride through the Pyrenees was fantastic. There were four of us, VFR800, 900 Monster and a BMW1100s. All the bikes ran perfectly and the BM was the only one that used any oil, funny that! Campsites were ace and the weather perfect. The only rain we seen was leaving blighty and on our return, typical. We booked the ferry last december so it only cost us £150 each. Next time we're going return from Spain, so we can spend all the time riding in the mountains. I can reccomend It to anyone.

I am riding down to Portugal and back in Sept this year. Which route over the Pyrenees did you take?

We have not fixed the route yet but will probably cross at the top end of Spain near Bilbao

spend some time in the pyrennes ...please see recommneded route in favorite routes section...best to cross around andorra and make you way back to the atlantic coast if you have time
