hi the N240 and N260 are awesome roads running through the Pyrenees (have a look at google maps)as for hotels i wouldnt bother booking as its good to stay flexible, you may not make your destination one day and may exceed your miles the next, not booking gives you the freedom to do what you want and the Hotels/Hostels are all very cheap and to a good standard (every one we stayed in was good enough for us and we stayed in the first one we saw most of the time).

I've got the N260 down as one of the roads to ride. As I'm coming down through France I'll have to miss the N240, but there seems to be so many good roads you're spoilt for choice.

Good to hear about the hotels. I hadn't booked anything in advance for the very reasons you say.

I promise to take lots of pictures

Sounds like you had an amazing 10 days Tim, although I do have to ask: why the gentleman on the R1 appears to be wearing a red cod piece...

bungee hooks

Boring question - but what did you clip the cargo net hooks too? Cant see from the resolution of the photos. I have a 996 and often need to carry small bag of work gear and would prefer to stick it on the bike rather than rucksack.

Cool trip - did similar years back on early CBR600. Need to do again on proper bike. Got me planning already.
