Yep as above, Even tho a bit of Sun in the morning sessions, tyre's didnt get that warm, for me the afternoon was a complete waist of time, I was using Racetech's and first few laps after lunch was like riding on ice.
Nice to see Kev (Padge) again, can't believe Sept has turned out so crap for the begining.

Anyway theres always next year.
Chris.

Kenoir which garage where you in ? and next time come and introduce yourself so I can put a face to youre name.
Cheers Guys.

So, on the whole, I had a great time but just wished it'd stayed dry.
I was one of the fallers - yellow 996 in novices, front went the instant i touched the brakes heading in to the last corner (Lodge?). Bike slid for a long way and ended up buried in the gravel. Looking very secondhand now!

I will post some photos as soon as I get them...

Cheers

Was about two bikes behind, just saw the bike sliding into gravel.

I'm fine - had a good slide on my back but leathers and back protector did their job.

Bike is a bit of a mess but looks worse than it really is - right side fairings, top fairing, seat unit are all scuffed, worst problem seems to be the clutch - clutch cover (standard) is mashed, seems to be crushed onto the clutch as the clutch lever won't pull in. Got the bike in neutral but can't wheel it very far as it locks solid... no idea on that as yet... a nice winter project i think...

Will post some photos of the damage once my mate sends them through...

Martin

Hello Chris, also nice to see you again mate, managed one session after lunch in the wet, quite enjoyed it for some strange reason even though pretty much all the other riders were either testing or track prepared on full wets! Are you going to do Anglesey on the 27th September, full international circuit so should be good and it is a saturday?

Cheers

Kev

Hi Chris,

I think our garage was number 17. I was on my 1098s and my mate had a 1098r (only one there I think). It was good to see so many Ducati out.
Which garage were you in?

Paul

Oh no Martin! I saw you at Lodge, I hope you're OK fella! I pulled in straight after I saw you in the gravel. That session started to look like it was drying out but then it tipped it down again.

I hope you get the bike fixed up OK and you're not in too much pain. Did you get home OK?

Paul

Ouch! If you want a replacement std clutch cover (although this is an ideal opportunity for bling...) let me know. Yours for a tenner inc postage.

Or the Auto Jumble at Ducati Manchester on the 14th of this month might be a happy hunting ground for you!
