Oulton Park, 3rd October?
Anybody doing this one?
I've just booked (with Ducati Wolverhampton) but I think it's full now.

Well..... it's handy if others had ALREADY booked before it was full! Then we could all have a jolly good time together!

It's a worry that you already know you look ****e in hot pants and a crop top!
I would have thought you could pull it off OK but if you've already tried.... you're right, best give it a miss!

Well, the sun's been out ALL DAY! God looked down, smiled, patted me on the head and said 'good boy Paul'.
It was a little chilly at 6:30am and the track was still damp for the first session but it then just got better and better. Still chilly but dry.... hurrah!
Loads of Ducati's out on track, there must be some from the forum. I even got Ducati Wolverhampton (who happened to be there) to have a crack at setting up my suspension. Only a tweak but it's made a big difference. I was passing almost everyone towards the end of the day. I've decided, I'm OK on the bends, straights and braking but I'm not quick enough on the gas coming out of a bend. I think I'll work on that next time.
Tyre warmers were fantastic! I felt confident straight from the pit lane. Not everyone took their time to warm tyres and at least 20 people came off. One was taken to hospital by helecopter. Never a good sign but I couldn't understand why so many were binning it. Mostly from the fast group and you would think they'd know better. Hey ho, I hope everyone's OK.
So, I don't know it the weather will hold out for another track day before the end of the year but I'll be keeping my eye on the forcast and the track day websites.
