Hi.. I'm there but not on my 1098s Tricolore, using my GSXR 750 track bike (black with No. 75 on it) with a couple of mates too.
Probably spot your exotica LOL and my bike stands out well too!
Cheers
Alan

be sure to wave as you go wizzzzzing by rented an R6 at siverstone last week - first time for xxxxx years aboard a japIL4 - it was great, thinking of selling the 748R and moving on.

Well what a day!!
Chucking it down all morning but better in the afternoon, unfortunately by then I had high sided coming out of Mc Cleans (on full wets.. I use tyre warmers and on 4th lap of session.. In 3rd gear and only gently winding it on when it just let go).
I went up about 2.50metres and bounced once or twice before sliding about 10metres, then the bike caught me up and gave me a finishing nudge.
Broken pelvis.. left radial (wrist) and forearm .

Spotted your mate on the MV and had a 1098R in my pit garage (12A) not 13 but may as well been
Didn't really get a chance to find you cuz after 10:45am I was immobilised!!
Luckily I wasn't on the 1098S Tricolore and not much damage to the GSXR 750 Track Bike.

yeah it was slippy, very slippy - i came round and found you lying on the track - your bike left a big scratch along the track too. sorry to hear about the injuries, hope you heal quickly - i found that my little underpowered thing was good, but limited by tyres, took a couple of sessions to find my way around and get used to sliding so much. kept in front or on the tail of the MV (depending on track dryness and wether his screen was fogging), was able to pass the 999R - until last session when it was dry and found it harder. Had a big slide on left hander onto main straight trying to pass the 999R, had to wait for next lap for a space into the chicane at the end of the straight - The guy on the 1098 came off as well, but we had some spares for him to use.

Glad you stayed upright!
Maybe catch you next time, although won't be bike fit for a good couple of months and then it's December

Guess I gave it a tad too much before getting fully upright but thought it was all ok
Was doing between 1m 38 and 1m 40secs and feeling good and then Ooops!
Cheers
Alan

Oooh, FFS Alan, sorry to read this .

You need to sack the pocket rocket and come out in the relative safety of Desmodue, you know it makes sence.

Are the injuries fairly minor to what Summer dished out when you got home.

Hi Phil.. Nah injuries feeling f*****g awful at mo mate .

Summer was with me at Donny and drove me back to Addenbrookes bless her.. I think it didn't do her nerves much good when the red lights came on and I didn't appear then my bike arrived back in the pits with me carted off to the medical centre in the ambulance.
Especially when some lads in the garage bigged it up with 'Jeez did you see how high in the air he went' etc etc.
Think that sometimes us guys don't appreciate how the other half feels and what they go through when we're out there, especially when there's a red flag.
(Its the not knowing for 10mins or so).

Soon found out though when she realised I was kinda ok... Relief was very evident Awww luv is eh? but hey these things happen and no one said it was shove ha'penny!
