You needed to buy an 1098R or 1198 before a cut off date in April........

MOI!
The original incentive said we would have DRE instructors there, now it seems we will have someone else. Maybe. On the otherside we were going to have a half day on track. Now it reads we will have all day.
Eitherway it'll be a superb day.

Sounds like a good day out indeed. I may come out to wobble round at the back of the pack ...

If you bought a new bike before the cut off date in March/ April (they extended the offer for a while longer), Ducati were giving away a £2000+ set of Dainese leathers, helmet, gloves boots and a back protector, plus two tickets for the Silverstone SBK round August 1st and a track day there on the 2nd. It only applied to certain models like the 1198s.
I haven't got my kit yet, but my dealer has recieved a dozen sets over the weekend and mine could be there.
I'll be there for my track day and we should get to meet Haga and Fabrizio.

Sorry should have explained a little better, but Neo has cover it now anyway!!
I'll be plodding around on my 1198s, I've got a R6 track bike, which I would be a lot happier going round on, especially after breaking my collar bone at brands last month.
Neo - I haven't received my kit either, but again same as you I did see a load of unpacked boxes on Saturday at the dealers, about time and all as my mate in Switzerland got his well over a month ago, I guess its a little closer to the factory.

My kit arrived today, I went to Ducati Wolverhampton to collect it.
Mmmmm...... Lovely stuff, the Dainese leathers are the dogs....

I'll be going You'll recognise me touring at the back of the novice group
Problem is: I'll still be limited to 7K rpm, as I doubt I'll have time to rack up the miles beforehand (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Why would you be riding 1198's and riding in the slow group?
Ref, the Dainese leathers, I always found they cut in at the Borrock area, most uncomfortable.

I'll be in the slow group as I've only done 400 miles on mine and currently out of action with with a broken collar bone, so still going to be easy stages of recovery.
I normally ride in the inters with my R6 track bike.
