Whos's been to Brno?

As in title folks.....

Just about to book flights to Brno for the WSB on 20th July. Any tips or tricks on travel/accomodation that I need to know. Travel to circuit for qualifying/race? Easy to get to? Car hire? Hotels?
Planning staying in Prague to take advantage of all the gorgeous hookers that Ive heard so much about!!

I like Prague so much that I've been 3 times. I went with Mrs Mental so I can't comment on the toms. The best hotel we stayed at was called the Hotel Tyl. https://www.hoteltyl.com/eng/index.html. Very reasonable and close to the centre.

It doesn't matter which major city in Europe you go to, in my experiance the guide book always says that it's the pickpocketing capital of Europe.

It is correct Multi. That is an achievement to have so many capitals for one place which is Europe

Prague is relatively safe. Do not go to any side narrow streets out of city centre and you will be fine. Oh yes hookers are the bomb. They do anything ...!! , just do not fall asleep as you will wake up without wallet, watch, mobile, passport and other valuable small items. Second option is to hide all those items in a safe and do not touch them when she is in the room.

Ive been to Brno and done 3 traqck days there..............we stayed in Prague the last night!!!!!

I thought the track was superb, both for riding and as a spectacle. the restaurant inside the track pits is really good and cheap too. I would imagine on the gp weekend its a very busy place though and the outer car parks looked sparse!

Staying in czech is quite cheap too though the wine and beer left a bit to be desired...........and as for that night in Prague, well i suspect you wont be dissapointed......

I've been to Brno.....and I Famosi Quattro are going to WSBK in the summer - on the bikes......flying...? You wuss!!!!

On a serious note Andy, where did you stay when you did the track days - can you recommend it ?

Im having a few problems trying to find decent hotels for Brno itself - en route is no problem sorted....

But if you google map Brno and ask it to find hotels - all its suggestions are west in former East Germany! nothing comes up in the Czech republic itself.....

Only criteria is that a) it must be clean b) not a hovel and c) must have secure garage parking for the bikes....

Is it easy to get to the track by public transport from Prague Andy? We wont be hiring a car as we'll be on the **** quite a bit.
