Never got in to it at the time but great to see this. A lot of the clips show him holding a tighter line and a lot smother than the other guys.

There's only 1 Foggy!!!

There're aren't many people who were successful at The TT and on short circuits!!

The bikes looked faster back then as well...

Must be the lack of electronics, they moved around more out of corners and under braking...

Lap records would say otherwise.

However Foggy would of been exciting to watch on a modern motoGP bike. Looking at the stats of those riders at the top of the list today they have foggy esque styles, builds and total self belief.

As has been said the thing that ensures Foggy will always be one of the greats are his performances on the IoM.

I'm sure the modern pack would not be allowed to ride at the IoM on motoGP 08 bikes (insurance, sponsors etc.) but Stoner on a 916 round the island would be interesting to see.

I thought the same thing. Squirming around all over the place.

Then it would have been preferable to use the verb 'appeared' would it not?

Gawd. In that context 'looked' and 'appeared' are entirely synonymous. He didn't say they 'were faster'; he said they 'looked faster'. Enough already.
