Xaus to BMW!!!!

Just anounced:

Ruben Xaus has signed a 2 year contract with BMW to ride their S1000RR!
So his Ducati years are allmost over........

Actually, that's really wrong of me, he was a really decent guy at Missano last year and spent way longer than he needed to talking about loads of stuff, not least how to aproach the circuit the wrong way etc.

Which is quite ironic when you think about it, as he seldom manages to string a whole lap together!!!!

I really hope they do well. It was always great to see Ruben doing his thing, you never knew what was going to happen, though I did used to cringe when he was Neil Hodgsons team mate, always looked like he was going to have them both off.
Good luck Rubens and the team.

What about sponsers though......could be interesting.

good on him - i think he had gone about as far as ducati will let him - they don't seem to want him as a factory rider - so riding a factory bmw has got to be goood. he even paid for his own bikes or something last year??? so he desrves a break

i see he's inspecting the tarmac at 100mph..am i the only person who thinks he's crap and vastly overrated and that he should be binned to let other nutters like Garry McCoy a go?
