Saw the crash and it looked very sickening, Have to be honest the way he was lying there at the end looked very serious, I will give Eurosport its due's as soon as they realised it was bad they immediatly changed cameras and never went back to that finally sickening shot.
Such a tragic loss of a good racer who has entertained the public very well. A reminder that its a dangerous sport and these guys deserve the respect.
Sympathy to his family.

I have to agree with Sad Biker. Saw the crash on Eurosport and thought it was a biggy, but never in my wildest dreams thought we would lose such a passionate racer. My thoughts go to his family and friends.

I saw that too and thought it was bad at the time. Watched all afternoon until they said he had regained conscious on the way to hospital. Then went out for a ride. Wished I hadn't bothered now.

"It is fitting that the abiding memory so many of us will have of Craig was him riding brilliantly, battling for the lead of an incredible race, in front of his home crowd."

Tragic news.

It was an amazing day of racing. The 1st Superbike race was one of the best i've seen from Southbank. The supersport race was so competitive and thrilling to watch.

I'm glad i didn't see the crash from where i was but it has put a huge downer on the whole day.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.

So so sad that anyone should loose their life whilst racing but perhaps if it had to be then that's what Jones would have wanted.

Sickening that two (Kato, Jones) rising stars should both cop it in 'freak' accidents.

The accident was gut wrenching.
